WHOA, A SHOW!


The HUD comes back swinging with…. Ice Age 3. And Overlord 2!
…
We swear this is a good show. Honest. In fact, Jason thinks it is our best one ever, which I disagreed with until I finished it. I do good work. Lots of chuckles, and a lot of good discussion over some pretty unassuming games. We also finally announce last episode’s winner of our weekly game clip contest, and play a new one for you all. There are still a few more episodes before the big drawing for a free game, so you can still get your name in for a chance to win!


Also, after a weeks-long hiatus from our normal tomfoolery, you deserve something special, and that something special is right here. Anyone who listens beyond our outro music knows we like to throw in little outtakes/bloopers/funny things. Or things we think are funny, anyway. Besides a lot of funny making it into the regular show, there was still a lot left, including what is to be called the “Wipeout Saga.” Throughout recording this episode, Jason was trying to convince Martin he played Wipeout HD; there are remnants here and there in the regular episode, but the highlights are preserved in the outtakes. It’s lengthy, and it’s quite possibly Jason’s finest moment, a crowning achievement in acting and deception.


What I’m getting at is this: we don’t have the most exciting games this episode, but it’s still a good one. That’s how good we are, and if this episode doesn’t prove it, nothing ever will.
