This week on The HUD, Patrick and Martin try and micromanage World War II while flying a plane in Battlestations: Pacific, while Jason and Gordon bend bullets in Wanted: Weapons of Fate. We play a new contest clip and announce last week’s winner. We also briefly announce some changes coming to The HUD’s webpage, which you’ll be seeing in your browser very soon.

REVIEWS:

Wanted: Weapons of Fate (PS3/X360)
Jason’s Score: 3.0
Gordon’s Score: 2.5

Pros: Bending bullets is neat when it works, adds some interesting story elements to compliment the film
Cons: Some glitchy gameplay, extremely short, mostly boring

Battlestations: Pacific (X360/PC)
Patrick’s Score: 7.0
Martin’s Score: 7.0

Pros: High production values, varied and unique gameplay
Cons: RTS micromanagement is a pain, genre-blending does not benefit either genre, poor voicework
